Responsibilities
- Assist the Shipping and Logistics function at the Luton plant by ensuring timely delivery of products to both internal and external customers and supporting import/export administration.
- Act as the main point of contact for key customers for shipping.
- Support and coordinate EXW (Ex Works) shipments and liaise with customers regarding EXW shipping arrangements.
- Obtain and manage freight/shipping quotes for EXW.
- Coordinate shipments with freight forwarders.
- Coordinate with planning and operations to ensure customer orders are shipped.
- Handle customer-specific documentation needs (Chamber of Commerce docs, Certificates of Origin, ATRs, stamped invoices, Certificates of Conformance, text certificates).
- Participate in Continuous improvement meetings to identify and implement changes that benefit business performance.
- Support Luton Finance team with Walk the Dock report/clearance for month-end revenue recognition.
- Assist the GTM team with export/import documentation (SAD – Single Administrative Document).
- Participate in Health & Safety and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with the credit team on Letters of Credit.
