This is where innovation meets reliability, and where every product plays a role in keeping fleets airborne and operations secure.What you’ll do:The position is responsible for leading the day-to-day running of all activities associated with manufacturing within a defined production area. The supervisors make sure that the production team is running smoothly and efficiently and interfaces with support teams to escalate issues and achieve goals. The position leads continuous improvement in production, quality, and safety while utilizing the framework of the Eaton Business System (EBS) and the Continuous Improvement Framework (CIF).Main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Ensure assigned manufacturing area is operating safely, promoting a zero incident culture by ensuring adherance to the life saving rules (e.g. Machine Guarding, Lock Out Tag Out) and following Management of Change Procedures.To lead and update production meetings, including Material Review Boards to ensure compliance and targets are met to all safety (MESH requirements), quality (inc Audits), labour, production and customer requirements on a daily basis. Communicating at the earliest opportunity and using the applicable processes any risks seen to achieve this.To Own all applicable QLI’s and fully understand their deployment to support quality within area and plant.To Lead Continuous improvement activities/kaizens in their defined production cell to ensure requirements of OPA, ELSS and the plants future state are being met and improved.
