Position Overview
We are seeking a strategic and dynamic leader to join us as Head of Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure in Europe. In this Director-level role, you will lead the development and execution of Eaton's EV charging infrastructure strategy across Europe, a critical region in the global energy transition. You will have a unique opportunity to work cross-functionally across multiple business units, including Power Distribution equipment, Battery Storage, and other Eaton and partner solutions, to deliver integrated, end-to-end offerings. As part of the Global Energy Transition business unit, you will drive business growth by delivering comprehensive EV charging solutions (power distribution equipment, battery storage, and EV chargers) and accelerating market adoption. You will collaborate closely with global teams and lead regional engagement with key ecosystem partners, including our strategic partnership with ChargePoint. This is a highly visible leadership role where you will leverage your strong commercial acumen, influence across functions, and ability to build and scale high-performing teams.
Locations: Fully remote role open to candidates based in Germany, the Netherlands, or the United Kingdom
Key Responsibilities
- Shape and bring to life the Europe EV charging infrastructure strategy, aligned with Eaton's global roadmap and regional market opportunities.
- Partner closely across Eaton business units for Power Distribution and balance of system to deliver comprehensive and differentiated customer solutions.
- Nurture business growth and performance by building strong pipelines and expanding revenue and market presence through scalable solutions.
- Cultivate and grow strategic partnerships, including ChargePoint and the broader EV ecosystem.
- Inspire and develop a high-performing regional team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous growth.
- Connect and collaborate across global and regional functions to deliver seamless, customer-centric solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in electrification, energy, EV infrastructure, or related industries.
- Proven ability to lead teams and deliver strong business results.
Preferred:
- Strong understanding of the European EV charging ecosystem, including regulatory environment and market dynamics.
- Experience with EV charging technologies (AC/DC infrastructure, energy management, grid integration).
- Track record of developing and executing strategy within a global, matrixed organization.
- Experience building and managing strategic partnerships, particularly with technology or platform partners.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen.
