This position is responsible for supporting the execution and deployment of the defined Strategic Quality Plan, reporting into the Plant Quality Manager.
- Leads the development, implementation, and improvement of the appropriate Quality Management Systems throughout the operation.
- Participates in and/or may lead the auditing of internal Quality Systems and completes part approval documentation to ensure that customers’ requirements are met in new or modified products and processes.
- Analyzes Operations Quality Metrics and supports managerial reviews (WOR / MOR) to evaluate results and recommend action plans to close gaps.
- Leads improvement teams in the development and evaluation of process capability, process control plans, PPAP and Special Processes and analysis out of control conditions.
- Acts as nominated delegate in absence of the Quality Manager.
- Ensures Quality functions are completed with accuracy, integrity and efficiency.
- Execution of Leader Standard Work and Daily Accountability for themselves and direct reports.
- Conducts performance evaluations of all staff.
- Participates in organizational capability assessments of staff, to ensure competencies requirements are met and develop plans are formulated.
- Deployment and developments of Quality Best practices in accordance with latest criteria.
- Maintains Regulatory and Certifying Body approvals.
- Supports New Product Implementation with regard to Quality deliverables.
- Leads Supplier Quality and Goods Inwards Inspection Teams.
- Leads and develops DQR Inspectors.
- Participates and supports projects throughout the site.
Qualifications: Engineering degree.
Skills: Working knowledge and Experience of Part 21G, Part 145 and AS9100.
