Currently located in Titchfield, Hampshire, Eaton's Aerospace business stands as a global leader in aerospace fuel systems. Our site is relocating to a newly constructed facility in Daedalus, which will serve as the Centre of Excellence for aerospace manufacturing across Europe. We are a premier supplier of fully integrated fuel systems for fixed and rotary-wing aircraft, with extensive fuel and air system test facilities for testing across varied conditions and fuels.

Responsibilities

  • Lead site or business unit program management and Integrated Product Team(s) to drive customer satisfaction, continuous improvement and program financial performance by managing customer programs, contracts and business relationships.
  • Provide overall program or site/business unit interface with the customer; improve responsiveness to customer requirements; communicate and manage customer expectations and contractual commitments internally.
  • Manage the Profit and Loss of the New Product Development Program(s) and projects; uphold Responsibility, Authority and Accountability for delivery within technical, schedule, cost and quality commitments.
  • Champion IPT leadership across the program; facilitate implementation of program management processes at the site, business unit or division; promote rapid issue resolution; coach and provide feedback on performance indicators.
  • Supervise project teams assigned to the program or site/business unit in a matrix environment.
  • Coordinate PM reviews, prepare and publish PM metrics and reports to support the program and project teams.
  • Maintain metrics for earned value (CPI/SPI), quality, technical performance and delivery through all PROLaunch phases.
  • Coordinate all risks and requirements of the program into a complete integrated entity; plan, control, and measure all elements to meet requirements and goals.
  • Manage customer contract, pricing, terms and conditions, and contractual flow-down; establish and negotiate pricing strategies and develop contract negotiation strategies; ensure effective change management processes.
  • Provide periodic program updates regarding contractual milestones and high-risk areas; report to business units, divisional and group levels.
  • Play a key role in developing new business proposals and executing the overall program plan.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Aerospace Program Management, Engineering, Customer Service, or Operations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Aerospace), Information Technology, or Business/Management; or MBA with engineering experience.
  • Chinese/Mandarin speaking language proficiency.

Skills

  • Ability to travel up to 25%.
  • Developing and applying project management methodologies, processes and tools.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills; capable of status reporting and technical presentations to Eaton management and customers.
  • Analytical skills and business acumen; knowledge of the Aerospace industry.
  • Leadership skills to lead change in an Integrated Team (IPT).
  • Experience managing programs/projects with components/subsystems/systems scope, moderate to high customer risk, and related NRE budgets and incremental revenue growth.
  • Ability to lead effectively in diverse cultural environments with global customers and teams.
  • Experience in Aerospace NPI programs and industry.
  • PMI accreditation (PMP) highly preferred; experience in risk management.
