What you'll do:
- Overall responsibility for leading a Maintenance team in achieving repair and maintenance activities, safety standards, legal requirements and customer requirements.
- Coordinates with all manufacturing and service groups to meet customer demands.
- Drives performance to achieve or exceed financial plans and strategic goals.
- Motivates team to create high performance culture.
- Lead, coach, and develop maintenance team in line with customer expectations to achieve departmental key performance indicators, specifically reactive maintenance downtime, TPM, and OEE.
- Site LOTO, TPM, and electrical safety subject matter expert.
- Lead training initiatives and refreshers, ensuring annual validation of competencies.
- Own maintenance policies, procedures, and other documentation, ensuring it is accurately maintained and followed in line with health and safety requirements, to ensure consistent and compliant manufactured product.
- Contribute towards strategic initiatives, prepare revenue budgets, and promote areas for improvement i.e., capital investment through to timely completion.
- Leverage Eaton Business System tools e.g., Management of Change, Problem Solving Techniques, and Lean Principles, to support the Plant to achieve world class performance status.
- Drive and champion manufacturing initiatives aligned to Industry 4.0, engaging with cross-functional teams to drive best practices across the plant.
Qualifications:
- HND or equivalent in Engineering - electrical bias preferred.
- Trained via a recognised industry apprenticeship.
- IOSH Managing Safely.
- Significant maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Multiple years of related professional and Supervisory/Managerial experience.
Skills:
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (required).
- Knowledge and competency to effectively deploy LOTO, TPM, OEE (required).
- Knowledge of injection moulding machines, power presses, and high-speed automation (preferred).
- Experience using maintenance management systems e.g., Production.
- Leadership including coaching and change management.
- Analytical thinking.
- Ethical mindset at all times.
- Interpersonal and influencing skills, ability to coordinate.
- Organisational skills, ability to multi-task and problem solve.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, including good presentation skills.
- Understanding of Microsoft Office packages.
- Strong ability to plan and execute own work initiatives.
