We are looking for an experienced CNC Machinist who can set and operate CNC turning centres and vertical machine centres in a safe manner ensuring quality and production targets are achieved on a consistent basis. To meet business needs there may be times when machinists will be required to work in other areas. Training will be provided where required.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Operation of Mazak and Hass CNC programming systems.
  • Program Mazak turning centres and Mazak 4 axis machine tools.
  • Interpretation of engineering drawings.
  • Inspection of work.
  • Meet production and quality targets on a consistent basis.
  • Input into continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Keep work area tidy and safe.

Qualifications:

  • Strong Engineering skills with a minimum of 2 years setting and operating CNC Machines.

Skills:

  • Be able to work with the minimum of supervision.
  • Good communication and team-work skills.
  • Results‑orientated with a 'can do' approach.
  • Be able to troubleshoot production problems.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
