Overview
We are seeking a reliable and responsible Minibus Driver to join our team, providing safe and friendly transport for pupils across Eaton House Schools, London Park Schools and Broomwood Schools. This is a term-time only role, ideal for someone who enjoys driving, working with young people and being part of a vibrant school community.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate the school minibus to transport pupils between home, school, and local activities.
- Ensure the welfare, comfort, and safety of all passengers at all times.
- Carry out basic vehicle checks (oil, fuel, tyres, etc.) and keep the minibus clean and roadworthy.
- Work closely with school staff across the three schools to support pupils during their journeys.
- Follow safeguarding and school policies at all times.
Essential requirements
- D1 category driving licence (without the 101 restriction).
- Clean driving record.
- Excellent punctuality, reliability, and communication skills.
- Friendly, approachable, and able to build positive relationships with pupils.
Desirable
- Previous experience driving a minibus or working in a school environment.
- First Aid qualification (or willingness to undertake training).
