Eaton’s Engineering & Technology Early Talent Leadership Development Program offers a unique opportunity to kick-start your international career. You’ll receive leadership training, personal coaching, and network with senior leaders. Through rotational assignments across various locations and business areas, you will develop a broad skill set and prepare for future leadership roles.
The program will start with the role of a Mechanical Engineer in Cwmbran, UK, where you will join the Life and Safety division of Eaton’s Fire and Intrusion business working on products such as fire panels, smoke detectors, sounders, beacons, call points. In this role, you will be a part of the mechanical engineering team working on the design and development of next generation fire panels. You will be largely involved in the new product introduction and design for manufacturing processes.
The second year of the program will take place in another EMEA country within one of the following disciplines: mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, embedded systems, power electronics, product development. Potential locations for the second-year assignment include Czech Republic, Austria, Germany, Italy.
Qualifications:
- Currently possesses, or will have obtained a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Design Engineering with a graduation date no later than August 2025. A master’s degree in these fields is also preferred.
- Work or internship experience is a plus (up to 3 years of experience)
Skills:
- Understanding of 3D CAD modelling, ideally in Solidworks
- Preferably: at least some experience in project management
- Preferably: financial awareness – design to cost, non-recurring costs
