What youll do:
- Develop and execute short-term production schedules based on Sales and Operations Execution and MPS.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through effective cycle counting practices.
- Oversee the movement of materials throughout the facility, including internal receipts, storage, distribution, and transportation.
- Manage site logistics activities to support plant operations.
- Lead lean material flow initiatives to optimize inventory transactions and support production.
- Monitor execution of the production schedule, including labor scheduling and adherence to the production plan.
- Escalate material availability issues to the Center of Excellence (COE) and Network teams.
- Drive forecast attainment in alignment with the MPS and integrated business planning.
- Ensure shipment schedules meet customer priority dates in coordination with the network and customer service teams.
- Champion continuous improvement using tools such as internal assessments (MMA, OPA), visual management, standard work, and value stream mapping.
- Maintain target inventory levels and achieve On-Time Delivery (OTD) goals for both internal and external customers, including freight targets and premium freight management.
- Oversee plant-owned data health activities including MRO, shipping and receiving, part movements, and production scheduling.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for issues related to execution of the overall MPS.
