What You’ll Do
- Perform the administrative/physical tasks involved in the receiving, storing and tracking of parts, supplies and equipment.
- Manage the kitting, deployment and distribution of inventory necessary to support the Business.
- Accurately pick stock items in accordance with the outgoing paperwork, ensuring conformance to the customer’s requirements.
- Deploy inventory directly to shop floor locations and kanbans/regulators or via kitting operations as required.
- Conduct accurate stock checks and cycle counts in accordance with Business Unit policy and SOF best practice.
- Maintain quality, batch control and traceability of all parts and ensure the department operates to the quality manual.
- Pick and issue stock parts to the shopfloor as required and update the system accordingly.
- Maintain and file all Goods Received Notes and records of receipt.
- Adequately package all orders for safe delivery to the customer.
- Deal with receipts for indirect purchases.
- Undertake any other duties, from time to time, as can be reasonably requested by the company.
- Perform all operations according to prescribed safety, health and environmental (EHS) principles.
- Execute ERP transactions involving movement of inventory and other related transactions.
- Execute kitting tasks in response to shop floor demand signals.
- Unpack and check goods received against purchase orders or invoices.
- Undertake 5S activities as assigned.
- Co‑operate with management to meet the employer’s legal duties and take reasonable care of their own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by their acts or omissions.
Qualifications
- Experience in a Stores environment is highly desirable.
- Experience working within a highly regulated industry, ideally Aerospace, is highly desirable.
- Computer literate.
- Managing Time.
