What you'll do:
Our Sutton manufacturing plant is now looking for a multi-skilled Maintenance Supervisor who will provide hands-on support, organise and motivate a maintenance team, plan priorities, monitor performance and deliver results. This role offers an excellent work-life balance. Although occasional out of hours support may be required, core hours are Mon-Fri 7.30-3.30.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage time and direct reports effectively and efficiently
- Give support and guidance to all team members
- Control activities ensuring safety is of paramount importance
- Coordinate activities to ensure maximum efficiency
- Monitor work progress to ensure delivery
- Recommend improvements where required
- Issue work permits where required
- Proactive and flexible - able to react quickly to the needs of the business
- Available for short notice overtime as and when required
- Available for out-of-hours emergency call outs
Qualifications:
- Engineering qualification such as BTEC, HNC or HND
- Trained Maintenance Engineer ideally with a mix of electrical and mechanical knowledge
- Previous management experience would be a plus but is not required
- Must have a can-do approach to problem solving along with a drive for improvement
Skills:

- All-rounder who can adapt to a variety of situations
