What You’ll Do

General Duties

  • work with a team of diverse people
  • contribute and lead real business projects
  • build relationships with our extended cohort of students that are located across the UK
  • enhance your skills through on-the-job training and external workshops

Day To Day Duties

  • Working within the Quality Team to understand how the QMS (Quality Management System) for controlled documents is used, maintained and most importantly controlled.
  • Learning to conduct process audits of key electronic manufacturing areas ensuring all standards are being met and followed.
  • Using Quality tools and standards to deliver assurance at top tier standard electronics manufacturing plant.
  • Carrying out under guidance Quality investigations, their root causes, resolve, prevention and assurance to the customer.
  • Collecting metrics relating to Quality and the department, understanding how they are analysed and how they are used to monitor the performance of the products we build and our department.
  • Shadowing our Quality Test Technicians- Understanding how Electronics hardware testing is done and fault finding down to component level is undertaken.
  • Writing up quality reports using tools and methodology learnt during the training.
