This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Construction Site Manager to take ownership of high‑impact electrical installations within the critical power industry, working across major London construction sites. You’ll be the key on‑site representative, ensuring installations are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest technical standard.
What You’ll Do- Ensure all work fully complies with Health & Safety regulations, RA/MS documentation, and permit requirements.
- Act as the main on‑site contact, ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations across complex and fast‑paced projects.
- Oversee installation of critical power systems (LV/MV switchgear, UPS, power distribution equipment).
- Coordinate Eaton field teams, subcontractors, and third‑party suppliers—keeping activities aligned and on schedule.
- Maintain close collaboration with the Project Manager, providing regular updates, forecasting needs, and identifying risks early.
- Ensure effective resource utilisation to support project profitability and highlight additional scope where required.
- Act as an auditor for site testing, commissioning, and quality verification activities.
- Represent Eaton in site coordination meetings with contractors and end‑clients.
- Promote Eaton values and uphold the highest level of professionalism and ethical conduct.
- CSCS and SMSTS required (training can be provided if needed).
- Proven experience managing construction sites, ideally within electrical systems or critical power projects or data centre environments.
- Strong understanding of CDM Regulations and construction H&S requirements.
- Solid engineering knowledge—electrical background strongly preferred.
- Experience using H&S systems, Quality Management Systems, and document control tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to prioritise, solve problems, and adapt quickly on fast‑moving projects.
- Customer‑focused mindset and ability to manage both technical teams and external partners.
- Flexible, proactive, and eager to broaden technical understanding across Eaton’s solutions.
