As the LV Field Service Power Distribution Engineer you will support our customers with the installation, commissioning, testing, and maintenance of Eaton LV equipment across the EMEA region. A successful candidate must be based in the UK and Ireland region and be flexible to travel within EMEA.
Key Responsibilities- Travel within EMEA region and deliver commissioning, testing maintenance, and SAT services for Eaton LV equipment in line with safety standards
- Act as the primary customer contact during site activities and installation projects
- Prepare RAMS, including arrangements for high‑voltage and high‑current testing
- Develop and execute SAT test plans based on specifications, drawings, and relay settings
- Perform LV testing and commissioning, including primary plant testing and functional testing of switchgear
- Interpret electrical drawings and challenge omissions where required
- Support project delivery by working closely with Project Management to meet timelines
- Lead on‑site activities when required and support/coach other service engineers
- Higher Diploma or a Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Electrical qualifications with solid theoretical and practical knowledge of LV distribution systems (switchgear products)
- High competence in LV testing, commissioning, and customer witness testing
- Ability to work independently, lead when needed, and contribute to a collaborative team environment
- Flexibility to travel and stay away across the EMEA region
- Strong IT skills with excellent attention to detail
- A strong safety mindset and confidence with LOTO systems
