We serve customers in Data Centers, Utilities & Energy, Industries, Buildings and Healthcare by providing installation, commissioning, warranty care, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, spare parts, equipment life extension, modernization and endâofâlife services.
We are looking for Lead Electrical Engineers â Medium Voltage Switchgear to join our growing team. In this role you will be the face of Eaton for our customers, leading installation projects, overseeing 3rdâparty providers, supporting fellow engineers, and ensuring our MV equipment operates at peak performance. The position typically requires approximately one week of travel to customers across the EMEA region (Data Centers, Utilities or Oil & Gas) and one week working from home performing administrative tasks. Successful candidates can be based anywhere in Ireland, the UK, Netherlands, Poland or Romania, ideally near a major airport.
What You'll Do
- Lead installation and perform maintenance & commissioning, testing and fault finding of Eatonâmanufactured MV and HV equipment.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers during project execution.
- Support and mentor other service engineers, fostering a culture of safety and excellence.
- Collaborate with project management to meet delivery targets and enhance customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Higher Diploma or a Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience in power distribution testing and commissioning.
- Ability to test and commission large Medium Voltage to High Voltage installations.
- Proficiency in protection relay programming.
- Strong IT and computer literacy with attention to detail.
- Ability to respond to breakdowns and drive resolution.
- Leadership skills and a desire to coach and develop others.
- Flexibility to travel and stay away as needed across the EMEA region.
