Eaton Titchfield is currently located in Titchfield, Hampshire, and Eaton's Aerospace business stands as a global leader in aerospace fuel systems. Our site is undergoing a significant transformation as we relocate to a newly constructed facility in Daedalus, which will serve as the Centre of Excellence for aerospace manufacturing across Europe.

This position is responsible for executing the defined Strategic Quality Plan in conjunction with plant leadership. Responsibilities include:

  • Providing quality assurance support to customers, suppliers, partners, and internal manufacturing cells.
  • Participating in continuous improvement activities in targeted areas.
  • Executing the Quality Assurance strategy to ensure product flow consistent with established industry standards, government regulations, and customer requirements.
  • Providing Quality customer interface and expertise to proactively assure requirements are understood and satisfied.
  • Supporting Supply Chain Management organization relative to the collection and analysis of supplier quality data.
  • Executing the development, implementation, and improvement of appropriate Quality Management Systems throughout the operation.
  • Participating in, and may lead, the auditing of internal Quality Systems.
  • Analyzing organizational quality metrics and performing periodic reviews to evaluate results and recommend action plans.
  • Developing and analyzing statistical data and product/process performance to recommend and implement improvements.
  • Contributing to the design and implementation of quality assurance training programs.
  • Participating in product development and launch activities.
  • Developing, implementing, and auditing complex inspection and test plans, standards, and acceptance criteria.
  • Investigating and eliminating causes of complex or multi-dimensional quality problems.
  • Coordinating with multiple Quality Engineers to prepare consolidated plant, customer, and product status information.

Qualifications:

  • Degree or Equivalent Experience.
  • 5 Years minimum experience in a quality setting.
  • Thorough understanding of problem-solving methods (i.e., Six Sigma, 8D, root cause analysis).
  • Knowledge of Eaton’s corporate Supplier Quality Assurance requirements.
  • Detailed knowledge of industry and customer-specific quality registration schemes and certification processes (i.e., ISO9001, ISO/TS-16949, AS9100).
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Process Variation Reduction concepts.
  • Ability to supervise and direct other departmental personnel for specified tasks.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional process improvement teams.
