What You’ll Do

  • Commission all aspects of the emergency lighting systems, ensuring that the system complies with the relevant British Standards.
  • Carry out routine maintenance of emergency lighting systems.
  • Conduct fault diagnosis on emergency lighting systems and understand the results so that correct rectification work can be identified and completed.
  • Jobs will be assigned to you and completed in a timely manner with detailed reports provided to document the work completed and any relevant recommendations.
  • Customer liaison will be essential to the role, so good communication skills are required.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Electrician (C&G or NVQ minimum).

Skills

  • A good understanding of BS5266.
  • Willing to travel across the UK and stay overnight up to a week at a time.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Microsoft packages: Outlook, Excel, Word.
  • Good listening, influencing, and communication skills.
