Responsibilities

  • Operate Class 2 HGV vehicles to safely and efficiently deliver gas cylinders to customers across the region.
  • Ensure all deliveries are completed in accordance with company policies and health & safety regulations.
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or issues promptly.
  • Accurately complete delivery documentation and maintain records of deliveries and vehicle logs.
  • Assist with loading and unloading cylinders, ensuring proper handling and securement.
  • Maintain a professional and courteous attitude when interacting with clients and colleagues.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies during daily operations.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to stay compliant with industry standards.

Qualifications

  • Valid Category C (Class 2) driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
  • Current CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
  • Previous experience in delivering gas cylinders or similar industrial products is desirable.
