Eaton’s IS AER FMC division is currently seeking an Assembly Technician. You will be part of a team that assembles high‑performance hydraulic pumps, motors, electrical generators, and other components used to operate flight control systems on civil and military aircraft. What You’ll Do

The primary function of this role is to assemble new hydraulic pumps, motors, and generators. The applicant must interpret drawings and build aerospace products with the use of an SOP. Other duties include involvement in 5S and lean manufacturing activities and participation in 8D investigations.

Qualifications

Skills:

  • An aerospace qualification or a similar manufacturing assembly qualification would be advantageous.
  • Ability to work to small tolerances and obtain a \”stamp\” to sign off work, confirming it has been completed in accordance with all relevant specifications.
  • Experience in dealing with US ITAR‑controlled technology, goods, and information. Employees with access to such technology and goods may be required to undergo an additional screening process.
