- Purpose of Job
- Provide expert pre-sales and post-sales technical support for liquid cooling solutions in data center environments.
- Act as the technical authority and customer-facing expert for direct liquid cooling (DLC), immersion cooling, and hybrid cooling architectures.
- Enable successful design-in, deployment, operation, and optimization of liquid cooling systems across hyperscale, colocation, and enterprise data centers.
- Bridge customer requirements with internal engineering, product management, and manufacturing teams.
- Specific Duties
- Support customers with system architecture, sizing, and selection of liquid cooling solutions.
- Deliver remote technical support during installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
- Review customer mechanical, thermal, and hydraulic designs and provide recommendations.
- Conduct technical presentations, workshops, and training for customers and partners.
- Assist sales teams with technical proposals, RFQs, and responses to RFPs.
- Perform thermal and hydraulic analysis to validate system performance.
- Support pilot projects, proof-of-concept (Po C) deployments, and field trials.
- Provide feedback to R&D on field issues, customer needs, and product improvement opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Thermal Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
- Formal education in thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, or heat transfer preferred.
- Relevant technical certifications in data center infrastructure or cooling technologies are an advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 3–7 years of experience in a Field Application Engineer, Systems Engineer, or Technical Support role.
- Proven experience with data center infrastructure (cooling, racks, power, IT equipment).
• Hands‑on experience with liquid cooling systems
- Direct-to-chip cooling
- Liquid cooling systems (single- or two-phase)
- Experience working directly with hyperscale, colocation, or enterprise customers.
- Familiarity with EU regulatory, safety, and environmental requirements is preferred.
- Skill & Knowledge Requirements
- Strong understanding of heat transfer, fluid dynamics, and thermal management principles.
- Knowledge of data center architectures, AI/HPC workloads, and high-density rack deployments.
- Ability to interpret mechanical drawings, P&IDs, and technical specifications.
- Experience with thermal simulation tools, spreadsheets, and performance modeling.
- Solid understanding of pumps, cold plates, manifolds, hoses, quick disconnects, and CDU systems.
- Competence in troubleshooting complex multi-disciplinary systems (thermal, mechanical, electrical).
- Proficient with CRM tools and technical documentation systems.

- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for assigned customers and accounts.
- Ensure successful technical adoption and long-term customer satisfaction.
- Travel across the EU to customer sites, partners, and internal facilities as required.
- Maintain accurate documentation of field activities, issues, Mo Ms, and recommendations.
- Support continuous improvement of products, tools, and field processes.
- Initiative
- Proactively identify customers and work closely with sales team to a successful engagement.
- Take ownership of technical actions required to progress opportunities toward commercial closure.
- Develop and share best practices across the FAE and engineering teams.
- Contribute to technical white papers, application notes, and training materials.
- Identify upsell and expansion opportunities within existing accounts through technical engagement and solution roadmap discussions
