Mechanical & Electrical Engineer£39,000 – £44,000 + Company Vehicle + BonusLincolnshire-based (Ideal for candidates based in Newark, Grantham, Sleaford, Mansfield & surrounding areas)Full-Time | Permanent | Field-Based with Regional Travel

Eaton Syalon are exclusively partnering with a rapidly growing business. With a strong pipeline of commercial and domestic projects, they’re looking to appoint a hands-on, technically confident Mechanical & Electrical Engineer to play a key role in the delivery of M&E installations across the region.

You will need to hold BPEC (or equivalent) certification in both heat pump installation and unvented hot water systems. This is essential to be considered for the role.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified professional to take real ownership of site delivery, managing installations, overseeing contractors, mentoring junior engineers and ensuring exceptional standards from start to finish.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Leading site-based delivery of mechanical and electrical installations (primarily heat pumps and renewables)
  • Supervising and developing a second engineer and managing subcontractors
  • Overseeing site operations from material ordering to commissioning and snagging
  • Carrying out site surveys and preparing project schedules and schematics
  • Ensuring accurate completion of all associated documentation and compliance paperwork
  • Acting as a key point of contact for the client while maintaining clear communication with internal teams
  • Upholding safety, quality and professional standards across all sites
  • Supporting business growth with regular photo/video documentation for marketing

What we’re looking for:

  • BPEC or equivalent certification in heat pump installation (essential)
  • BPEC or equivalent in unvented hot water systems (essential)
  • Electrical qualification (NICEIC or equivalent)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Previous experience in managing or mentoring teams onsite
  • Strong communication, problem-solving and organisational skills
  • A genuine interest in progressing into management in the near future
