Eaton Syalon are exclusively partnering with a growing business to recruit a driven Sales Manager to join their team across the South Derbyshire region. This is an exciting opportunity for a bright, energetic and commercially minded sales professional who thrives on building relationships, opening doors and winning new business.
We are keen to speak with candidates based in Burton upon Trent, Swadlincote, Ashby-de-la-Zouch and the surrounding areas due to the field based nature of the role. This is not an account management position; this is a true hunter role suited to someone who enjoys being out on the road, meeting customers, identifying opportunities and driving business growth. The business already has a dedicated Business Development team generating leads and opportunities, however we are looking for someone with the confidence, motivation and personality to go after opportunities independently and really make the role their own. A background within construction, building products, construction recruitment or business development would be highly advantageous, although not essential. Personality, drive and attitude are key.
Key Responsibilities:- Developing and winning new business opportunities across the region
- Building strong relationships with customers and decision makers
- Managing the full sales process from initial contact through to closing deals
- Attending client meetings, site visits and networking opportunities
- Working closely with the wider BD team to maximise opportunities
- Identifying new markets and areas for growth
- Maintaining strong levels of customer service and commercial awareness
- A naturally driven and enthusiastic sales professional
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Confident approaching new businesses and creating opportunities
- A proactive and resilient mindset
- Full UK driving licence is essential
- Construction sector exposure would be advantageous
