Eaton Syalon are supporting a growing organisation with the recruitment of an experienced Bid Manager to lead, coordinate and deliver high quality proposals across a range of complex, multi-disciplinary projects.

You’ll play a key role in shaping winning submissions, guiding internal teams, and ensuring that opportunities are managed with clarity, pace, and strong governance from start to finish.
Duties:
- Building clear bid schedules with defined actions, checkpoints and review stages
- Creating strong written content that showcases key messages, differentiators and value
- Working closely with SMEs to gather accurate technical, operational and commercial detail
- Turning complex inputs into concise, customer-focused proposal material
- Keeping all governance tools up to date, including compliance checks, risk logs and trackers
- Assisting with pricing discussions, cost considerations and overall value positioning
- Handling several bids at once with strong organisation and consistency
- Continuously refining templates, processes and bid materials to improve future submissions
Qualifications & Experience:
- You’ll have a solid academic foundation or equivalent hands-on experience gained in a structured, professional environment
- At least five years’ experience working in a dedicated bid, tender or proposal management role
- A track record of running well-organised, compliant bid processes from start to finish
- Confident using Microsoft Office to produce polished, accurate and well-presented documents
- Exposure to tools such as bid platforms, CRM systems or proposal software would be beneficial
- Professional development such as APMP (or similar) is welcome, though not essential
