Eaton Syalon are partnering with a growing and ambitious accountancy practice seeking an Assistant Audit Manager to join their expanding audit team.
This role offers an excellent stepping stone between Audit Senior and Manager, providing greater responsibility for team leadership, mentoring, client management and project delivery whilst continuing to work with a diverse portfolio of owner-managed businesses.

The Opportunity
You’ll lead more complex audit assignments, supervise audit teams, support junior development and work closely with Managers and Partners to ensure assignments are delivered efficiently and to the highest standards.
Responsibilities will include:
- Leading audit assignments from planning through to completion
- Supervising and reviewing the work of audit team members
- Acting as the key point of contact for clients
- Managing client expectations and project delivery
- Supporting the training, mentoring and development of junior colleagues
- Assisting managers with file reviews and portfolio management exposure
- Identifying efficiencies and continuous improvement opportunities
- Supporting the wider development of the audit team through coaching and knowledge sharing
About You
We’re interested in speaking with individuals who:
- Are ACA or ACCA part-qualified, finalist or qualified
- Have strong audit experience gained within practice
- Have experience leading audits and supervising junior staff
- Enjoy coaching and developing others
- Are seeking a clear route towards Audit Manager
- Want to play an active role in the growth of a successful practice
