You must be able to drive to be considered for the role due to the location of the business. It is essential that you have previous experience within a hire controller role or come from a plant/tool background. This is a busy, hands-on position at the centre of operations, perfect for someone who understands the pace of the hire industry and enjoys keeping customers, drivers, and equipment moving efficiently.
The role will involve:
- Coordinating hire requests from enquiry through to completion
- Scheduling equipment, transport and availability
- Acting as a key contact for customers, resolving queries and changes
- Liaising with drivers, depots and internal teams
