Eaton Syalon are recruiting for an experienced Electronics Repair Technician to join a growing and successful organisation. You must be able to drive to be considered for the role due to the location of the business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in electronics, electrical repair, TV repair, appliance repair, PCB assembly, telecommunications, CCTV, security systems or a similar technical environment.
We are looking for a hands-on individual who enjoys fault-finding, repairing equipment, and solving technical problems. You'll be working with a variety of electronic and mechanical components, carrying out repairs, testing equipment, diagnosing faults and ensuring products are repaired to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnosing faults and repairing electronic and mechanical components
- Testing products and equipment prior to dispatch
- Using hand tools, soldering equipment and testing instruments
- Recording repair findings and actions accurately on internal systems
- Supporting continuous improvement and sharing technical knowledge with colleagues
- Maintaining a safe, organised and professional workshop environment
- Ensuring all repairs are completed to a high standard and within agreed timescales
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience repairing electronic or electrical equipment
- Experience using hand tools and diagnostic equipment
- Fault-finding and troubleshooting experience
- Excellent attention to detail
