It is essential that you have previous experience within a hire controller role or come from a plant/tool background. This is a busy, hands on position at the centre of operations, perfect for someone who understands the pace of the hire industry and enjoys keeping customers, drivers and equipment moving efficiently. If you like being the person who makes things happen, thrives on organisation and takes pride in delivering great service, this could be a brilliant fit.
The role will involve:
- Coordinating hire requests from enquiry through to completion
- Scheduling equipment, transport and availability
- Acting as a key contact for customers, resolving queries and changes
- Liaising with drivers, depots and internal teams
- Maintaining accurate system information and documentation
- Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the operation
What’s essential:
- Previous experience in a Hire Controller role
