Eaton Syalon are working exclusively on behalf of a fast-growing international business to appoint a Compliance Manager. This is a senior, high impact leadership role where you will influence compliance strategy, lead an established team, and act as a key partner to executive stakeholders across global operations. Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor and develop the compliance team
- Build a collaborative, high-performing compliance culture
- Oversee day-to-day compliance operations and strategic projects
- Act as the primary contact for regulators, managing reporting, inspections and audits
- Coordinate responses to RFIs, due diligence requests and partner assessments
- Conduct risk-based reviews across products, services and territories
- Support senior leadership and the board in embedding compliance into strategy
- Strengthen AML frameworks, policies and internal controls
- Maintain oversight of complaints processes
- Drive improvements across systems, automation and training
- Manage vendor and merchant due diligence
- Ensure KYC/KYB onboarding requirements are met
Regulatory Advisory Focus
- Advising on new market entry
- Understanding licensing and territorial restrictions
- Assessing regulatory exposure for wallet/payment services
- Liaising with external legal specialists where required
- Monitoring global regulatory developments
About You
- Compliance qualifications desirable and/or experience in a comparable senior position
- Strong knowledge of FCA expectations and KYC/KYB
- Experience within regulated financial services, EMI, PSP or similar
- Exposure to high-risk merchant categories is advantageous
- Excellent communicator with strong attention to detail
- Analytical, organised and comfortable balancing multiple workstreams
- Calm, adaptable and effective in a fast-paced environment
