The Opportunity
This is not a transactional role.
You’ll be joining a commercially focused finance function, supporting in management reporting, stakeholder interaction and performance analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Producing margin and performance reports for internal stakeholders
- Journals including accruals and prepayments
- Supporting preparation of monthly management accounts
- Liaison with operations, resolving queries and building productive working relationships
- Running P&L reports and analysing performance
- Analysis of high volumes of data
- Partnering with Payroll, Purchase Ledger and Credit Control functions
- Supporting process improvement initiatives
About You
We’re looking for someone hungry to build a career in finance.
You might be in an Assistant Accountant, Accounts Assistant or Finance Assistant role and ready for that next step into management accounting. You will be in the early stages of CIMA / ACCA / ACA and keen to continue studies while gaining valuable experience to support your studies. You will have well developed IT skills including confidence using Excel. Interpersonally you enjoy building solid working relationships with your team and the wider business and you aren’t afraid to ask for support if you need it. This role is ideally suited to a proactive, technically strong Accounts professional keen to progress in the future.
