Eaton Syalon are exclusively partnering with a business in Derby to recruit an Accounts Manager into their team. You\’ll report directly to the Finance Manager an will have responsibility of the transactional accounts team.
Our client are a dynamic business headquartered in Derby, seeking a confident and capable Accounts Manager to join their finance team. This is a hybrid role and an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership, driving process improvements, and developing others.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
-Manage and support the Credit Control team and Accounts Assistant
-Take full ownership of large / complex customer accounts
-Investigate and allocate payments
-Handle month-end tasks including reconciliations, reporting, accruals, and bad debt provisions
-Oversee office supply ordering and liaise with external contractors
-Project work – to review and streamline finance processes and policies
Person Profile:
-Experience managing or mentoring team members
-Comfortable handling difficult conversations and resolving complex issues
-A natural problem solver who thrives on responsibility and autonomy
-Strong Excel skills to include pivot tables and V look ups
-Adaptable and proactive – happy to get stuck into a wide variety of tasks
-Comfortable working in a small but supportive team environment
