Key responsibilities will include:
- Oversee daily bank postings across the group
- Manage the bank reconciliation process for all group companies
- Lead the cash flow forecasting process for the group
- Take ownership of payment and fund transfer processes
- Handle bank account administration, including openings, closures, mandate updates, and general maintenance
- Supervise processing of expenses and company credit card transactions
- Manage relationships with merchant credit card processors
- Ensure strong internal controls are embedded within all treasury processes
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to implement best practices across all treasury functions
- Produce KPI and dashboard reports to support performance monitoring
- Manage daily cash operations, including cash pooling administration, monitoring of cash positions versus overdraft limits, loan drawdowns, and short-term deposits
- Develop and maintain robust cash flow forecasting models; track and analyse variances against projections
- Assist with bank relationship management, including compliance reporting and participation in refinancing initiatives as needed
- Collaborate with business units to ensure effective measures are taken to optimise cash conversion
- Support team management activities, including hiring, training, and developing within the function
- Enhance and streamline the efficiency of core systems
Candidate Profile:
- Experienced working in a transactional financial management role
- Experienced in month end close, bank and balance sheet reconciliation
- Strong managerial skills with an appetite for continuous improvement
- Strong in managing internal and external stakeholder relationships
- Good financial systems knowledge and other reporting/analytical tools such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau etc.
- Experienced in change management
- Excellent analytical skills
