Eaton Syalon are exclusively supporting a well-established, fast-growing SME that has doubled in headcount over the last five years to hire a HR Advisor/HR Generalist.
Reporting into the HR Manager, you'll join a small, collaborative HR team where you'll be involved across the full employee lifecycle, from advisory and casework through to projects, policy review, process improvement and supporting operational teams on a day-to-day basis. If you enjoy variety, being close to the business, and working with a wide-ranging employee population this is the kind of role where you'll thrive.
This role will suit:
- An established HR Advisor who enjoys a broad, generalist remit in a smaller business
- Or someone stepping into their first HR Advisor role having gained strong experience in a HR Support role
The Role
You'll play a key role in supporting managers across multiple sites, providing practical, commercially minded HR support. Key areas will include:
- Providing HR advice on employee relations matters (absence, performance, conduct, grievance)
- Supporting cases from start to resolution
- Building strong relationships with managers
- Supporting recruitment, onboarding and wider employee lifecycle processes
- Assisting with HR systems, data accuracy and payroll liaison
- HR projects including onboarding of acquired sites
- Policy development and review
- Process improvements
What We're Looking For
- Experience in a generalist HR role with exposure to employee relations within a smaller business/team setting
- Someone confident working in a fast-paced, operational environment
- Strong interpersonal skills - able to build credibility across all levels
- A hands-on, pragmatic approach with a willingness to get stuck in
- High attention to detail, particularly around HR systems and data
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities across different sites
