Interim Finance Business Partner (FP&A Focus) in Derbyshire, 2 days per week at site, £350-£450 per day, 6 Months.

Are you a qualified finance professional with strong FP&A expertise and a passion for driving business performance? We are seeking an Interim Finance Business Partner to support a change and transformation project. My client is looking for an individual to support them through a critical period of financial planning, analysis, and decision-making.

The Role:

  • Financial Planning & Analysis: Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling to support strategic objectives.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a trusted finance partner to senior leadership, providing insights and challenge to drive commercial decision-making.
  • Performance Reporting: Develop and enhance financial reporting, delivering meaningful KPIs and variance analysis.
  • Scenario Planning & Cost Control: Conduct sensitivity analysis and support cost efficiency initiatives.
  • Investment & Business Case Analysis: Assess opportunities, risks, and financial impacts of strategic initiatives.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement enhancements to financial systems, reporting, and planning processes.
  • Month-End & Business Reviews: Support period-end close, prepare board reports, and present findings to leadership teams.

What We're Looking For:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with a strong background in FP&A and business partnering.
  • Proven experience in a commercial finance or FP&A role, ideally in a relevant industry.
  • Strong financial modelling, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders with clear, insightful financial advice.
  • Experience in fast-paced, dynamic environments with a proactive, hands-on approach.
  • Immediate availability or short notice preferred.
