Our client, based in Burton-upon-Trent, is seeking a hands-on Accounts Supervisor to join their small, dedicated finance team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, has strong all-round transactional finance experience (must include sales ledger and credit control), and is happy to get involved wherever needed to support the Financial Controller.
- Manage the sales ledger process across multiple currencies, including preparing and issuing invoices, posting payments, reconciling accounts, and producing month-end reports.
- Carry out credit checks for new customers and ensure accurate setup of new accounts on internal systems.
- Oversee credit control activities by following up on overdue balances, maintaining regular customer contact, and resolving issues.
