A global boutique advisory firm with deep expertise in chemicals and specialty materials is seeking an Associate to support its expanding Investment Banking platform. The team advises on high-impact M&A and strategic transactions across specialty and basic chemicals and advanced materials, offering hands‐on deal exposure, early responsibility, and a collaborative working environment built on trust, performance, and autonomy.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the execution of M&A, capital markets, and strategic advisory transactions within the chemicals and specialty materials sectors.
- Build and maintain financial models, perform valuation analyses, and deliver in-depth industry and company research.
- Prepare pitch materials, client presentations, and transaction documentation.
- Collaborate closely with senior bankers and cross-border teams in a fast-paced, deal‐driven environment.
Candidate Profile
- Prior investment banking experience (3-5 years), with strong exposure to chemicals, specialty chemicals, or specialty materials (experience in adjacent industrial sectors also considered).
- History of outstanding academic and professional achievement.
- Strong team orientation and ability to work effectively across multiple groups and regions.
- Highly reliable and accountable.
- Strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a proactive, self‐starting mindset.
