Teaching Assistant Scale D5-6 £25,583 - £25,989 per annum pro-rata Actual salary £19,242 - £19,548 gross per annum 32.5 hours per week, term time plus 1 week
Working Pattern: Monday 08:30am-16:00pm, Tuesday to Friday 08:30am-15:30pm
Establish and support pupils aged 7-16 with social, emotional and mental health difficulties to achieve academic, social and behavioural outcomes.
Provide effective communication in English, both orally and in writing, to meet role requirements.
Support teaching across primary and secondary age ranges, selecting preferred age groups but remaining flexible to support any area.
Opportunity to work additional hours within the residential care team if desired.
Attend 5 training days per term and participate in the Academy’s staff support and development programme.
Teach in a residential specialist school for boys, managing complex educational experiences and challenging behaviours.
Applicants must be prepared to undertake an Enhanced DBS check, attend a Warner Interview, and confirm Right to Work in the UK.
Applicants must complete a declaration form under the Childcare (Disqualification) 2009 Regulations and may need a certificate of good conduct or professional standing letter if applicable.
