Job Purpose

To build and maintain broker relationships by offering a high level of customer service and to work closely and effectively with the team and your team leaders to ensure that all work is completed within SLA’s.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide brokers with their renewal invites for all products including RPO, CPO, Retail, Pubs, Restaurants, Hotels, Contractors, Tradesman and Commercial Combined, in good time.
  • Work through any renewals queries for your panel of brokers in a timely manner.
  • Action all Mid Term Adjustments and Cancellations for your brokers and clients.
  • Large case management for renewals over £5,000 and above.
  • Act as a referral point for Underwriting Assistants within the Team.
  • Answer phone calls to broker in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Operate in accordance within the Underwriting License given.
  • Make use of the Underwriting guide in addition to senior colleagues for a collaborative approach to underwriting.
  • Take initiative, within the context of the role, to improve work processes and promote overall corporate goals.
  • Ensure Group trading entities deliver customer outcomes in a compliant manner in accordance with the principles of Treating Customers Fairly (TCF).
