This is a full-time, initially on-site Property Solicitor/Lawyer role based across our offices. The role involves managing a varied caseload of property matters, including residential transactions, from initial instruction through to completion. Day-to-day tasks include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and other legal documents, conducting title investigations and due diligence, and liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other solicitors.
The Property Solicitor/Lawyer will provide clear, pragmatic legal advice, ensure compliance with regulatory and firm standards, and maintain accurate file management and record-keeping. The role also includes contributing to business development activities, supporting colleagues across related practice areas, and helping to deliver a responsive, high-quality client service.
Knowledge and Experience
- Strong grounding in residential conveyancing and related areas of Law, with the ability to handle a varied property caseload independently.
- Proven experience in conveyancing, title checks, and completion procedures ideally in line with CQS requirements.
- Knowledge of Commercial matters, such as leases, acquisitions, disposals, and landlord and tenant issues ideal but not essential.
- Excellent client care, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to explain complex legal issues clearly.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities.
- Proficiency with legal case management systems and standard office software; willingness to adapt to new technologies and processes.

Qualification
- Qualified Solicitor or Lawyer (or equivalent legal qualification) with a valid practicing certificate for England and Wales.
