What you’ll do:
- Responsible for carrying out secondary operations and to produce parts to the required Quality and Organisational Standards.
- Control materials required for production whilst observing our "I choose zero" safety culture.
- Undertake manual assembly, secondary operations, etc. for which training has been given.
- Carry out measurement and testing of parts where required.
- Operate Greasing, Rumbling, Granulating, Drying and other machinery for which training has been given.
- Adhere to Standard Operating Policies and Procedures, contributing to achievement of departmental goals and targets (Production Efficiency, Inventory, Tidiness & Cleanliness, etc.).
- Monitor output and record all information on the relevant documentation (using MTM where appropriate).
- Adhere to order quantities, dates, etc. to meet delivery times and customer requirements.
- Ensure that lean manufacturing standards (5S+, documentation standards, standardised working methods, etc.) are observed and sustained.
- Communicate problems affecting the role or responsibilities to Supervisor.
Skills:
- Basic Injection Moulding knowledge / experience.
- Experience of operating machinery and performing manual assembly tasks.
