What you’ll do
Join our Programme Management Office as a Senior Planner/PMO Analyst, supporting project and programme delivery through structured planning, governance, and reporting.
You’ll maintain consistency across schedules, risk registers, and reporting processes while collaborating with Programmes, Engineering, Finance, and other key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead monthly planning cadence, including schedule updates, risk management sessions, financial reconciliation, Contract Status Report generation, and Earned Value Management reporting.
- Develop and manage complex schedules using MS Project, ensuring accuracy and alignment with programme objectives.
- Analyse project data (critical path, earned value, Schedule Risk Analysis) to forecast outcomes and support decision-making.
- Reconcile financials and reschedule past-due tasks; provide cross-functional financial reporting.
- Perform data manipulation and analytics using Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and Power BI to generate actionable insights.
- Facilitate risk management sessions and support gated lifecycle management processes.
- Engage with stakeholders across Engineering, Finance, and Programme teams to ensure alignment and timely delivery.
- Provide technical SME leadership / mentoring to more junior PMO Analyst team members, promoting Best Practice and ensuring adherence to MSD Wimborne PPM processes and the wider Eaton LCM process.
Qualifications
- 5+ years’ experience in PMO or project planning roles.
Skills
- Strong planning and scheduling expertise with proficiency in MS Project.
- Engineering/manufacturing experience preferred.
- Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and familiarity with Share Point, Power Point, and Power BI.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and facilitation skills. Ability to manage stakeholders and drive governance processes effectively.
