Overview

In this role you will lead supplier performance for Eaton Aerospace FMC, partnering with planning, manufacturing and procurement to ensure material flow and meet customer commitments. You will drive recovery actions with under-performing suppliers and embed best-in-class procurement processes across the organization. You’ll work across sites in the UK, supporting global supplier performance improvements and continuous improvement initiatives. This is a strategic, data-driven role that shapes how we deliver on-time, quality outcomes for aerospace customers.

Responsibilities

  • Direct supplier recovery efforts with corrective action plans and timely closure of actions
  • Foster strong partnerships with internal stakeholders, customers and suppliers to align on commitments
  • Establish and maintain best-in-class procurement processes aligned with procedures
  • Develop commodity knowledge and procurement process expertise within the Procurement Center of Excellence
  • Monitor supplier performance metrics (Past Due, OTD, DPPM) and address gaps with tactical recovery plans
  • Drive systemic procurement improvements at sites and supplier locations
  • Leverage supply chain data to set and communicate Operations Fulfilment priorities

Key requirements

  • Bachelor
  • 5 years of progressive experience in supply chain management
  • 5+ years of procurement experience
  • Supply chain experience in the aerospace industry (preferred)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Strong organizational, time management and planning
  • Team player with collaborative mindset
  • Advanced Excel (v-lookups, pivot tables)
  • ERP systems: MFGPro, SAP, Kinaxis, PowerBI
  • Knowledge of lean tools
