What you’ll do:

  • Scheduling production in the short‑term horizon based on the Sales and Operations Execution and Master Production Scheduling.
  • Maintaining Inventory Accuracy through accurate cycle counting.
  • Movement of materials through the facility.
  • Internal receipts, storage, distribution, and transportation.
  • Manage logistics activities for the site.
  • Responsible for managing materials flow and transaction inventory to support the plant’s operations by deploying lean material flow.
  • Responsible for generating short‑term production scheduling aligned with the plan defined by the Network.
  • Responsible for monitoring execution of production schedule defined by the Network (schedule labour on factory floor, monitor execution of the production plan).
  • Responsible for escalation of material availability to the COE and Network teams.
  • Drive forecast attainment aligned with the MPS resulting from the integrated business planning.
  • Execute shipment schedule aligned with the customer priority dates aligned with the network and customer service team.
  • Champion and deploy continuous improvement leveraging tools such as internal assessments (MMA, OPA), visual management, standard work, and value stream mapping.
  • Responsible for maintaining target inventory levels and meeting OTD goals for both internal and external customers and overall freight targets (including premium freight) aligned with the plan defined by the network.
  • Responsible for plant‑owned data health activities including MRO, shipping and receiving, part movements, production scheduling.
  • This role is a point of contact for escalations related to execution of the overall MPS.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum five (5) years’ combined experience in Materials, Operations and/or Supply Chain Management within a manufacturing environment.
  • Minimum three (3) years of Leader of People experience.

Skills:

  • Experience in supporting cross‑functional SIOP and Inventory management processes.
  • Technical knowledge of forecasting techniques, bill of material structuring, and scheduling execution.
  • MRP/ERP knowledge, preferably in Kinaxis Rapid Response / Maestro & MFG-Pro.
  • In‑depth knowledge of plant manufacturing processes and value streams from raw materials to finished product.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to motivate team members to drive for results.
