Overview
We are looking for a Field Service Engineer who will provide service to Eaton customers, carry out preventative maintenance on UPSs, and maintain other existing UPS equipment to fulfil customer requirements in line with Eaton Safety requirements. You will focus on hyperscale data centers in the region.

Work Arrangement
Position is remote, traveling expectation 100%.
Responsibilities
- Fault diagnoses on UPS systems.
- Ability to understand on-line and line-interactive UPS systems.
- Carry out preventative maintenance on existing install base.
- Carry out commissioning and repair on all types of UPS systems including stand-alone and parallel configurations.
- Set up and configure remote monitoring software.
- Communicate with key stakeholders on a technical level.
- Apply anti-static policies and procedures.
- Apply ECN process to all repairs.
Qualifications
- Educated to a HNC or higher in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
Skills
- Possessing three phase electrical installation or maintenance knowledge.
- A good understanding of UPS systems.
- Knowledgeable of industrial communication protocols such as: Modbus, SNMP, OPC, DDE, TCP/IP.
- Knowledgeable of programming of PLC control systems (power control, generator control, SCADA or process control).
