Overview
In this role you drive specified demand for Eaton’s LV/MV power distribution portfolio by shaping design choices early in construction and refurbishment projects. You will engage consultants and end users, build and protect project opportunities, and position Eaton as the technical partner of choice for power distribution and energy resilience. You’ll develop project pipelines and steer specifications from concept to execution, contributing to energy efficiency and digitalisation across commercial, industrial, and critical infrastructure sectors.
Responsibilities
- Build relationships with consulting engineers, building services consultants, contractors, and end users to influence project specifications
- Drive early project engagement from concept through design, positioning Eaton as the preferred power distribution partner
- Provide technical guidance on LV switchgear, switchboards, circuit protection, energy management, power quality, surge protection, and EV infrastructure
- Deliver CPDs, technical presentations, and design workshops to consultants and engineering teams
- Champion Eaton specifications throughout the tender process, emphasizing safety, reliability, sustainability, digitalisation, and energy resilience
- Collaborate with sales, application engineering, and product teams to convert specifications into project wins
Key requirements
- HNC/HND, Degree, or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, OR proven power distribution/technical sales experience
- Experience working with consultants, contractors, end users, or specification-led projects
- Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management
- Confident in presenting technical solutions to engineering and commercial audiences
- Self-motivated and well-organised with pipeline management
