What you’ll do:

  • Responsible for setting and optimising moulding machines to produce parts to the required quality and organisational standards whilst observing our "I choose zero" safety culture.
  • Set and optimise injection moulding machines, ensuring safety and quality checks are completed correctly.
  • Carry out Statistical Process Control measurements where required.
  • Operate injection moulding machines when required, ensuring safety and quality checks are completed correctly.
  • Adhere to standard operating policies and procedures, contributing to the achievement of departmental goals and targets (OEE, DPPM, DOH, Inventory, 5S+ Score).
  • Ensure that lean manufacturing standards (5S+, documentation standards, standardised working methods, etc.) are observed and sustained.
  • Communicate problems affecting the role or responsibilities to the supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • GCSEs; English, Maths, Science.
  • At least 3 years of injection moulding knowledge/experience - ideal but not essential.

Skills:

  • Basic concepts of Statistical Process Control.
  • Previous setting experience.
