The predicted salary is between 25000 - 30000 £ per year.

To perform the administrative/physical tasks involved in the receiving, storing and tracking of parts, supplies and equipment. To manage the kitting, deployment and distribution of inventory necessary to support the Business. To accurately pick stock items in accordance with the outgoing paperwork, ensuring conformance to the customer's requirements. Deploying inventory directly to shop floor locations and kanbans/regulators or via kitting operations as required. Conducting accurate stock checks and cycle counts in accordance with Business Unit policy and SOF best practice. To maintain quality, batch control and traceability of all parts and to ensure the department operates to the quality manual. To pick and issue stock parts to the shop floor as required and to update the system accordingly. Maintaining and filing all Goods Received Notes and records of receipt. To adequately package all orders for safe delivery to the customer. To deal with receipts for indirect purchases. To undertake any other duties, from time to time, as can be reasonably requested by the company. Performs all operations according to prescribed safety, health and environmental (EHS) principles. Executes ERP transactions involving movement of inventory and other related transactions. Executes kitting tasks in response to shop floor demand signals. Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices. Co-operates with management to meet the employer's legal duties and take reasonable care of their own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by their acts or omissions.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a Stores environment is highly desirable.
  • Experience working within a highly regulated industry, ideally Aerospace, is highly desirable.
  • Computer literate.
  • Managing Time & Priorities.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow Business Operations, Systems and Processes.
  • Customer Orientation.
  • Flexibility.
  • Inventory accuracy 5S+.
  • Kitting turnaround time EHS.

The successful applicant will be in contact with US ITAR controlled technology, goods, and information. As a condition of employment, employees with access to US ITAR controlled technology and goods may be required to undergo an additional screening process as part of the recruitment process.
