Overview
In this role you will lead the financial analysis for Eaton's footprint strategy and the Daedalus plant construction, ensuring the project's financial success. You will partner with the project team and cross-functional stakeholders to translate strategy into actionable financial plans. You will establish budgeting and financial controls to support operations readiness in 2027. This role sits at the intersection of finance and manufacturing excellence, contributing to Eaton's Centre of Excellence in aerospace manufacturing. You will help shape the financial narrative of a high-impact site transformation.

Responsibilities
- Model the project’s financial impact, updating investments, savings, taxes, and inputs
- Partner with the project team to pinpoint inefficiencies and opportunities for financial improvement
- Support the development of strategic and annual profit plan information for the footprint
- Provide cross-functional financial guidance and education to project personnel
- Act as financial advisor to staff on operations and interpretation of financial data
- Prepare capital appropriation requests and ensure adherence to corporate policy
- Manage and monitor project capital spend and perform post-audit assessment
- Establish budgeting structure for operating expenses, headcount, and P&L costs tied to the project
Key requirements
- BS degree in Finance or Accounting
- Minimum 4 years of Finance/Accounting experience
- Minimum 2 years in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of Corp, Region/Division and Plant reporting policies
- Strong analytical and modeling capabilities
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- CPA/CMA/MBA or progress towards these is preferred
- Know-how of GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley and local statutory requirements
- Experience with advanced financial modeling and decision making
- Interpersonal skills to motivate and direct teams
- Able to manage multiple priorities under time pressure
- Strong verbal and written communication for clear alignment
