What you’ll do:
To provide detail inspection of aerospace components in accordance with AS9102 and drawing requirements. Role will involve the creation of paperwork and pack collation, physical measurements inspection and communication of findings to senior management. Current project for Augusta Westland US101 program.
- Compile and document the findings of the inspection, including any discrepancies or deviations from the specified requirements. (First Article Inspection Report)
- Conduct visual and physical inspections of product to ensure it meets all design specifications, manufacturing tolerances, and other requirements. Establish component traceability is in place and complies with all local procedures for first article inspection.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Confident in the use of hand‑held measurement equipment and CMM machines, trained in AS9102 inspection methods / disciplines, Aerospace traceability requirements, experience working within AS9100 approved organisations.
- Understanding and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and related documentation to ensure accurate inspection.
- Formal AS9102 inspection training essential.
- Attention to detail, good communication skills, and computer proficiency are essential.
