Embedded Systems Engineer – Engineering & Technology Early Talent Leadership Development Program

Eaton’s Engineering & Technology Early Talent Leadership Development Program offers a unique opportunity to kick‑start your international career. You’ll receive leadership training, personal coaching, and network with senior leaders. Through rotational assignments across various locations and business areas, you will develop a broad skill set and prepare for future leadership roles. The program will start in September 2026 with the role of an Embedded Systems Engineer in Cwmbran, UK, where you will join the Embedded Software Engineering team which develops and maintains the firmware that powers our Life Safety products, ensuring robust performance, compliance, and system reliability. The team delivers secure, high‑quality code across the full development lifecycle, from architecture to validation. The second year of the program will take place in another EMEA country within one of the following disciplines: mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, embedded systems, power electronics, product development. Potential locations for the second‑year assignment include Czech Republic, Austria, Germany, Italy or Ireland.

Qualifications

  • Currently possesses, or will have obtained a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electronics/SW Engineering with a graduation date no later than August 2026
  • Maximum 1‑3 years of experience (counting internships) and maximum 3 years after graduation
  • Experience/knowledge of HW/SW/Firmware/Embedded engineering
